I create artwork through intuitive painting. In other words, I feel through the process of the painting rather than painting something visually specific. Most of my work is created this way and I don't realize until later what they represent to me.
This collection was created during a live painting session. It wasn't until I began to piece these paintings together that I realized they remind me of my trip to Scotland and exploring Grey Mare's Tail National Reserve. This place is known for having the highest waterfall in the UK, plunging 60m down into the Moffat Water Valley. It was a beautiful and breathtaking adventure and I'm grateful to have these paintings to honor those memories.
